Les pays est le fruit d’une résidence de 7 semaines à Jaligny-sur-Besbre en partenariat avec Videoformes. Les différentes oeuvres donnent à voir les paysages que nous traversons, ceux que, statiques, nous observons, les paysages dont nous rêvons et que nous construisons. L’ensemble des vidéos fonctionne par complémentarité (rêveries, visions intimes, récits personnels) et par opposition (immobilité contre mouvement perpétuel, disparition et révélation, le naturalisme s’alliant à la manipulation des images) pour former un atlas distordu du paysage.
La tentation du déplacement remonte à la surface, la possibilité d’une échappée est là. L’attente se transforme en une expérience ouverte aux vibrations impalpables du monde.

The Lands is the result of a 7-week residency in Jaligny-sur-Besbre in partnership
with Videoformes. The different works give us a chance to see the landscapes that we
walk in, those that, static, we observe, the landscapes we dream of and we build. All
the videos work through complementarity (daydreaming, intimate visions, personal
narratives) and opposition (immobility against perpetual movement, disappearance
and revelation, naturalism combining with the manipulation of images) to form a
distorted atlas of the landscape.
The temptation to move rises to the surface, the possibility of a breakaway is there,
at the crossroads. Waiting turns into an experience open to the impalpable vibrations
of the world.
