Les 8 images fixes extraites du film L’Attente, créé lors d’une résidence Vidéoformes au collège des Chenevrières, présentent des figures en attente, figées dans leurs positions. Chacune réside dans son propre monde, dans son propre paysage.
Construites comme des tableaux panthéistes, les images évoquent ce moment si particulier de l’adolescence où l’attente se diffuse dans les interstices. Le récit, lui aussi, semble suspendu, comme à un point de bascule. Aucun événement marquant ne paraît se dérouler. Et pourtant, les regards inquiets tracent des lignes, ici ou hors du cadre.
Ce qui n’aurait dû être que solitude et isolement devient un espace partagé. Le format réduit des images invite notre regard à les scruter et, ce faisant, à découvrir une intimité faite de gestes et de postures qui circulent d’une photographie à l’autre.
Les lieux s’installent, mais la tentation du déplacement ressurgit ; la possibilité d’une évasion est là, aux croisements des vies. L’attente se métamorphose en une expérience ouverte aux vibrations impalpables du monde.

The eight still images extracted from the film The Wait, created during a Vidéoformes residency at the Chenevrières middle school, present figures of adolescence waiting, frozen in their positions. Each inhabits their own world, their own landscape.
Constructed like pantheistic tableaux, the images evoke that particular moment in adolescence when waiting permeates the spaces between things and thoughts. The narrative seems suspended, as if it was at a tipping point. No significant event appears to be unfolding. And yet, anxious gazes trace lines, both inside and beyond the frame.
What should have been only solitude and isolation becomes a shared space. The small format of the images invites our gaze to scrutinize them and, in doing so, to discover an intimacy made of gestures and postures that circulate from one photograph to the next. The places become established, but the temptation to move resurfaces. The possibility of escape is there, at the crossroads of lives. The waiting is transformed into an experience open to the intangible vibrations of the world.
